Benito Gonzalez is widely recognized as an exciting pianist and composer for his debut album, “Starting Point” (with Christian McBride, Antonio Sanchez, Rene McLean, Ron Blake) and as winner of the 2005 Great American Jazz Piano Competition. He tours worldwide with Kenny Garrett, and has performed with such leading artists as Curtis Fuller, Pharaoh Sanders, Bobby Hutcherson, Steve Turre, Hamiet Bluiett, Nicholas Payton and Jackie McLean.
